Share in the warmth and enthusiasm of this charming and versatile mother / daughter musical duo of Candy and daughter Holly. A modern "Pied Piper," Holly has the gift to make music that speaks to children aged 5 - 105! Over the past 9 years, Generations has been featured at folk festivals, libraries, schools, a Mississippi River Boat, national gatherings and conventions. The duo offers a upbeat mix of contemporary, and traditional folk songs that are timeless and family oriented. Accompanying instruments include Celtic harp, guitar, lap dulcimer. Recently, Holly has added a few of her original songs with piano accompaniment to the repertoire. Adapting their selections and delivery to the audience at hand, songs range from playful to beautiful and they fill their program with harmony vocals and interactive musical frolic; in short they provide outstanding entertainment with multi-generational appeal. Generations has produced two highly acclaimed recordings of songs for the family entitled Dream Maker, and Lift Me, both recipients of Parent's Guide Children's Media and Parent's Choice national awards.
